The reservoir cap cover is a protective seal for the refrigerant deposit. Its main objective is to prevent the liquid from the assisted management from escaping the deposit. They’re usually made of heat-resistant plastic or chromium.
When reservoir caps wear, crack or break, they must be replaced immediately to prevent the liquid from escaping. You must avoid driving your vehicle when your deposit or any part of it is damaged.
